This yellow NAMJI DOLL is a handmade statue from rosewood and adorned with glass beads and cowrie shells made by artisans from the Namji tribe in Cameroon.
Namji dolls are also called Dowayo dolls. They are a traditional gift for weddings and symbolise good fortune and fertility.
