This rare Tamtam Attié is a striking artifact from southeastern Ivory Coast, meticulously hand-carved by the Attié people—renowned for their rich artistic and musical heritage. Standing 70 cm tall and 30 cm in diameter, this ceremonial drum was traditionally used in rituals, dances, and community gatherings to unify village life through rhythm.

Carved from a single block of indigenous hardwood, its surface bears a beautifully aged patina with deep, dark tones and traces of ceremonial use. Subtle cracks, wear, and natural imperfections testify to its decades of cultural significance.

Once an instrument of celebration and reverence, it now serves as a powerful decorative object that radiates history and soul. Perfect as a statement piece in a modern interior or as a treasured collectible for connoisseurs of African art, this Tamtam Attié invites the resonance of tradition into contemporary spaces.
